This Cookie Policy explains how TW Market Data ("TWMD", "we") uses cookies and similar technologies on twmarketdata.com and its subdomains (together, the "Site"), and the choices available to you. It should be read together with the Privacy Policy; terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Privacy Policy.

What cookies, pixels and local storage are

A cookie is a small text file a site places on your device as you browse, allowing it to recognise your session on a later visit, remember preferences and keep working. Cookies are "first-party" (set by us) or "third-party" (set by a service provider); they are "session cookies", which expire when you close the browser, or "persistent cookies", which are retained for a period. A pixel (pixel tag) is a very small piece of code embedded in a page or an email, used to tell whether the content was opened; we use it only to measure effectiveness in aggregate, never for cross-site advertising. Local storage lets a site keep a small amount of data in your browser; we use it to remember your interface language and your sort and filter preferences on data tables.

How and why we use cookies

We group them into three categories by purpose. The "strictly necessary" category cannot be turned off; without it the Site does not work. The other two are your choice.

Strictly necessary cookies are loaded on the legitimate interest of providing core functionality; functional and analytics cookies are loaded on your consent where the law requires it.

Third parties and service providers

Some of these technologies are set by service providers who help us operate, and may process data only on our instructions and for the purposes described in this Policy. The categories involved are identity sign-in (OAuth), site analytics, edge security and content delivery. The subprocessor table in the Trust Centre is authoritative as to which providers are actually used.

The API and programmatic access do not use cookies

This Policy applies to browser visits only. Programmatic access through the API, bulk download or MCP uses no cookies; it authenticates with your API key, which is held in your own environment.

Your choices and how to manage them

You can accept or decline analytics cookies through the Site’s consent prompt, or inspect, block and delete cookies at the browser level (blocking all of them may prevent sign-in or disable some features). You can also turn analytics cookies off in your consent settings at any time.

What we do not do

We do not sell data collected through cookies.
We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising tracking.
We do not store raw API keys, access tokens or database connection strings in cookies or local storage.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The updated version is published on the Site and takes effect when posted; we will give appropriate notice of material changes.
